Our hearts are broken as we bid farewell to our cherished colleague and friend Delicia Raveenthrarajan. Her sudden departure has left us stunned and profoundly saddened. Delicia is well known, admired, and respected in many music education and choral communities in Toronto, in Ontario, and beyond. 

Truth and Reconciliation 2023

On September 30, Choral Canada will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by taking some time to reflect upon the injustices faced by Indigenous peoples, as well as their rich cultural contributions that have enriched our nation. We recognize the need for open dialogue, meaningful action, and ongoing education to address the historical and ongoing injustices faced by Indigenous communities.

 

Second Call for Student Chapter Executive Committee

Choral Canada is seeking two (2) Co-Chairs and four (4) individuals to join the Choral Canada Student Chapter Executive Committee (CCSC). These six (6) individuals are representative of the richly diverse group singing communities in which we participate and will help provide the CCSC committee with a multitude of perspectives and lived experiences.
