Choral Canada is seeking two (2) Co-Chairs and four (4) individuals to join the Choral Canada Student Chapter Executive Committee (CCSC). These six (6) individuals are representative of the richly diverse group singing communities in which we participate and will help provide the CCSC committee with a multitude of perspectives and lived experiences.

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, has recently announced 99 new appointments to the Order of Canada. Among them are Lydia Adams and Barbara Assiginaak.

Executive Director Meghan Hila was invited to attend this important gathering of senior arts leaders, which plays a vital role in bringing together leading voices from Canada and internationally to help shape the future of arts in Canada. Read more and hear Meghan's key highlights from the event.

The news is out! Roseline Blain has been chosen as the 2024 Guest Conductor for the National Youth Choir of Canada (NYCC), one of Canada’s finest youth choirs.

The Ottawa Children's Choir (OCC) has created a choral music education program that is accessible and relevant to all children with an interest in choral singing. The “Musical Education for Young Singers” program involves a series of ten videos, geared towards children 6-9 years of age, for a total of 30 minutes of virtual and asynchronous programming, to share the joy of singing with all children across Ottawa, Ontario and beyond!
