Choral Canada's Canadian Choral Repertoire Series

The first volume in this series, published in 2002 and containing both sacred and secular selections, grew out of a regular column in Anacrusis which had been established to allow conductors across the country to recommend and make suggestions about Canadian choral compositions. Five volumes have been published. While the series does not claim to be a comprehensive collection of all worthy Canadian choral compositions, it does represent a wide range of compositions that Choral Canada members have found to be successful and enjoyable and which they offer as suggestions to their colleagues.

Suggestions are listed by voicing with practical information (composer, arranger, publisher, language, timing) plus comments from conductors. Capsule biographies of the composers and arrangers and contact information for the publishers are included.

All volumes are available in the “Members Area” of Choral Canada’s website. Purchase or renew your membership today to access the entire series.
