ACCC Competition for Choral Writing
The Association of Canadian Choral Communities encourages and supports the composition of new choral works by Canadian composers.
The competition provides:
- $1,500 prize
- Publication of the winning work
- Winning work to be performed by the National Youth Choir at Podium 2012, May 17–20, Ottawa, Ontario
Guidelines for 2012
Open to Canadian citizens and landed immigrants
Entry deadline: October 1, 2011
Entry fee: $25.00
Duration of the work: 2—5 minutes
Type of work: Original composition for SATB (a cappella or piano accompaniment)
