Special Project : Resources for Warm-ups and Vocal Exercises
Call for Warm-Ups
This new ACCC initiative will collect and publish suggestions for warm-up routines and descriptions of pedagogical procedures/exercises for addressing various aspects of vocal production to best prepare choirs for rehearsals. This resource project, with the objective to inspire both the experienced and the novice conductor, is co-ordinated by Andrée Dagenais, ACCC Vice President for Professional Development, and Henry Schellenberg.
Share vocal warm-ups /vocal technique expertise with conductors from coast to coast
Commit: To insure that a publication can be released in time for Podium 2010 please submit your name, name of choir(s) and type of choir(s) you are currently conducting by February 28, 2009 to: dagenaisa@brandonu.ca.
Submit: Please submit in writing, as well as on DVD (optional), how you warm up your choir(s).
In order to collate materials in a timely fashion for publication, we will need your material ready for editing by August 31, 2009.
